So I will get to riding stories but it may take me some time …  One reason is because it took me a while to get to the riding part of my first trip to Germany.

Riding in Europe Part 1: Getting There is Half the Fun!

Germany! It’s the place to go places for horse jumpers.   With so many top quality horses and trainers it’s no surprise that young North American riders dream of either riding or buying a horse there.   I was no exception.  After starting my jumping training at age 11 with a trainer originally from Switzerland (Beda Wachter) I knew that Europe was where I wanted to go.
